This is book one in a three book series.
At the centre of our galaxy is an artificially generated void. Occasionally and without warning, the void expands devouring whole solar systems in the process. Having failed in their attempts to destroy this threat, the Raiel have guarded the boundary to the void ever since.
But there are humans inside. How, or even when, they entered is unclear as time within the void behaves differently. Their existence has been made known to the Human Commonwealth via dreams shared through the Gaiafield by a man named Indigo.
The series of dreams chronicle one man’s struggle in the void to rid his world of corrupt leaders and organised crime. His story has inspired an entire religion with billions of followers throughout the Commonwealth.
So when their newly appointed leader announces a pilgrimage to enter the void, the lines are drawn for a conflict both within and from outside the Commonwealth.
Does the void hold the key to ascension to a higher level of existence? Or will the mass influx of people cause an envelopment phase that will devour the entire galaxy?
